Moisture is harmful to wood?

Wood is an extremely robust material that can adapt well to different environments. With the right treatment and care, wood can withstand moisture even better than other building materials. It can store and also release moisture - and thus regulate humidity. However, correct planning and execution are important. If installed correctly, it will last for many centuries.

Of course, the optimum moisture content of wood in its original state is monitored industrially. Water damage can attack wood. However, this is also the case with all other materials. Wood, on the other hand, can dry out better.
