Residential high-rise, Frankfurter Allee 218
PORR GmbH & Co. KGaA is building the Q218, a high-rise building for residential and commercial use, on a 4,600m² site at Frankfurter Allee 218, not far from the Lichtenberg S-Bahn station.
The 64m high residential tower will house approximately 400 apartments on its 20 upper floors.

The pde BIM department is coordinating all the BIM project requirements on the construction site, from model-based defect management to the handover of the construction documentation for the building services. pde is once again providing ongoing support with the “GAMMA AR” app, which was made available to all project participants. The app uses augmented reality to display the BIM model on smartphones and tablets and enable direct comparison between the model and the actual building on the site. This makes it easier for the team to identify and document any discrepancies between the design and the actual construction. All information from the models can be accessed at any time.
