Our LEAN Leader training in tunnel construction
Around 30 managers from Austria, Germany, Eastern Europe and Switzerland are currently participating in our modular LEAN Leader training course in tunnel construction.
The focus is not only on the application of classic LEAN methods such as shop floor management or the Last Planner System, but above all on anchoring LEAN principles in leadership behaviour.
The core of the programme is the LEAN mindset: creating transparency, recognising potential and involving employees. A culture of learning from mistakes, continuous improvement (CIP) and clear communication form the foundation for this.
The practical modules recently took place at the ARGE H53 Brenner Base Tunnel and PSKW Ebensee construction sites. The focus here was on practical tools to better understand the interaction with the operational LEAN experts on site – and to actively shape it.
The training is led by experienced specialists from our LEAN department – who also have direct experience in tunnel construction.
