Sustainability pays off - also in the hotel ranking

More and more online travel platforms such as booking.com, Expedia Group or HRS are taking sustainability certificates into account in the visibility and rating of hotels. If you want to score points here, you need verified standards - ideally from an independent, internationally recognized source.

Our sustainability experts support hotel and property owners in doing just that: with well-founded building certifications such as DGNB and LEED - as a strong foundation for later operation and a better listing with online travel agencies.

Why is this important?
Building certifications lay the foundation for sustainable hotel operations - among other things through

  • Energy monitoring & efficient technology
  • Integration of renewable energies
  • Passive building concepts
  • Energy-efficient appliances & water-saving systems
  • High guest comfort and much more.

This pays off in the long term - for guests, operators, owners and the ranking.

Here are some of our already certified hotel projects:

  • Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts am Kanzleramt, Berlin - DGNB Platinum
  • Holiday Inn and @Holiday Inn Express (Potsdam, Berlin, Frankfurt) - DGNB Gold
  • Hampton by Hilton, Berlin Alexanderplatz - LEED Silver
  • Andaz Prague (Hyatt, Sugar Palace), Prague - LEED Gold
  • Super8 and @Holiday Inn Hamburg - DGNB and LEED Gold
  • Leonardo Hotels Vienna City West - LEED Gold
