Last week, the last timber-concrete composite element (HBV) was installed in Building D of Europe's largest urban quarter in timber-hybrid construction.
In 20 weeks, a total of 1,800 m² of HBV ceiling elements were installed - a strong sign of efficient planning and excellent cooperation.
The LeopoldQuartier stands for sustainable construction, deconstructability and smart processes - and we at pde are delighted to be making a significant contribution to this green lighthouse project with our interdisciplinary expertise with our timber construction, structural planning, sustainability, LEAN and construction preparation teams.
A big thank you also to everyone involved in the project for their commitment and expertise: UBM Development (client), PORR Group (general contractor), Weissenseer (producer of the timber frame walls and assembly of the HBV and CLT elements as well as the prefabricated balcony elements), binderholz and Hasslacher (cross-laminated timber producers), MMK (HBV producer).
