Boarding House Böblingen – Sustainability meets modern comfort

In the heart of Baden-Württemberg, Boardinghouse 71, operated by BRERA Serviced Apartments, has created 71 fully furnished apartments, attractive commercial space and an underground car park with a car lift. Particularly noteworthy are the barrier-free apartments, which offer exceptional comfort.

Our sustainability department provided comprehensive support for the project with the aim of ensuring the highest standards of quality and environmental compatibility:

• DGNB silver certification (use type ‘hotel’) – from pre-check to full audit
• Quality measurements upon completion of construction: blower door test and pollutant measurements
• Daylight simulation
• Thermal comfort simulation

With these measures, we ensured that the new boarding house not only looks impressive, but also meets forward-looking standards in terms of energy efficiency, interior quality and user comfort.
